Pennsylvania Casinos

Pennsylvania law allows up to 14 casinos in three categories: 5 stand-alone casinos, 7 racetrack casinos and 2 resort casinos.

One racetrack casino license will not be issued until after the Harness Racing Commission licenses another racetrack. The two resort casinos are not yet licensed. There are no current resort casino applications after Seven Springs Resort and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort, both in western Pennsylvania, withdrew their applications.
